I remember Donovan walking into our makeshift candy/food pantry in 2020.We laughed, we joked but mainly shared our love for God. We then found ourselves being in the company of GI( Branden Anderson). Donovan lived life like he was 6 feet tall. I will truly miss seeing his next adventure of being a short man with a big heart and bigger thirst for God.

Donavan "Don'Don" is what we called him. I remember when he began Big School (Kindergarten). My Mom would pick him and my nephews up from school in the afternoon. Donavan was a little guy with a smile so bright that it would light up any room. You had to be ready around him because he would always ask questions (why your car sound like that, why do you wear glasses, why you can't see good, who bought you that candy, can I have some of that candy? Lol) He was always a joy to be around, and I know that his presence on this earth will be empty, however his memories and the way he made us laugh will live on forever in our heart and minds.

Donavan was a very sweet person and he will truly be missed by all especially from the people at Glorious #2 . We enjoyed seeing him pop up our services. He was a beacon of light. Condolences to the family of DJ.

Donavan went to St Augustine's University in Raleigh we stayed in the same dorm he was my neighbor and a great friend he was in the Gospel Choir at the college I played piano for the gospel choir. He will be truly missed and he was a great friend. My condolences to his mom in Rocky Mount and two brothers.
