Dorsey Glover

During my Middle school year at Edwards Middle School I was always excited to see him as my substitute. He used to have the funniest and sweetest soul. One day I asked him to be my valentine and he said yes and my other friend got offended because he was her valentine 😂 Such a funny and silly man and I give all to Mrs.Glover who put so much time into students. Amazing people and may he rest in peace. Saddened as I wanted to thank him and figured out this news.

Mr. Glover really pushed to help young adolescents, he was an outstanding teacher and life coach. He will truly be missed but not forgotten.

Sincerest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Glover Family! I met Mr. Glover August 2003 when I was a first year teacher here in Rocky Mount, NC. He really took up time with me and helped me understand my craft and helped me understand the power of being an educator. Such a great guy and beautiful family.

Mrs. Glover, I was always encouraged, uplifted, and motivated whenever I interacted with you and Mr. Glover. You both modeled impeccable character in every encounter. I first met Mr. Glover when I volunteered as a math tutor at Edwards Middle School. We had a wonderful exchange after class and every encounter thereafter. His impact is much greater than you may realize. I appreciate not only what he modeled as a person but also what you both modeled together as a beautiful couple. Evelyn, my fondest memories of Dorsey and CIS will always bring a smile to my heart. We were a team and worked hard to brighten the lives of students we taught and worked with in the CIS program. He had a very special way with the kids and they loved him so much. He was a good listener and I appreciated all the talks we had during our 15 years together. He will be missed by many, and I hope all the great memories you shared will bring warmth and comfort during this time. We will keep you in prayer.
