I vividly remember Mrs. Davis, our Liberian and I can attest to every tribute that everyone has made to this wonderful woman on this site. I, too, enjoyed going to the library because of her and she made attending the National Honor Society meetings that much more enjoyable and meaningful. I enjoyed watching her and her sister walking to school together in the morning. They were two tall stately sisters who seemed so very close to each other. May she forever rest in peace. Wonderful woman she was.

"Aunt Ella" was the bright light and Queen in my world from my adolescent days until now. Nobody has ever called my name as sweetly kindly gently and lovingly as did she. I am blessed by her love and compassion towards me. Rest in heavenly peace my dear angel.

Aunt Ella and Uncle Guion were always there for me, as they were for so many at Booker T. and RMSH. It's impossible to explain but important to note how much Ella and Guion did for us all back then as we integrated our schools. I was lucky in that Ella and Guion were there to help my Mother Melba help guide me the right way. I am always grateful. As we believe Uncle Guion and Aunt Ella are together again.

Rest In Peace πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ

Mrs. Davis was a great person. She always welcomed you to her home. She was a fantastic librarian at Booker T. Washington High School and served as the leader of our National Honor Society. It was an honor to attend our meetings and be encouraged to continue to aim high. Whenever I saw her, she had a beautiful smile on her face and loved speaking about how she loved working at Booker T. She will now be with her love ones. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Davis.
