Obituary For Fancy Porter
Fancy L. Porter, 84, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church, 320 W. Thomas Street, Rocky Mount, NC. 27804 Pastor Nehemiah Smith, Pastor and Rev. Rod Porter, Officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church.

As we mourn the loss of your beloved mother.Through the tears may you all find solace in the memories that we all have of your dear mother and will always bind us together as family.Our Dad (Lindsey Coley)loved his cousin Fancy and all of Aunt Alice Children they all felt you his brothers and sisters to us they shared so many precious memories together and we as children use to look forward to Pete and Fancy coming home for a visit when they were traveling to different places while he was in The Air Force. Fancy spend some time with my Dad on his last Christmas before he passed and he was so happy to see her.These memories are forever etched in our mind.May God be with her Girls and grandchildren during this sad time.May our beloved cousin rest in eternal peace with her husband and son.
