I remember the time when we were young children when we were at home, we use to trick my brother. He had a bowl of oatmeal and what he thought to be raisins, it was a spider with the egg sac on the back. He didn't know it, but it was tasty. We were doing the most as young children. I also remember our brother saying he had so many girlfriends and they kept coming. This was His way of expressing how they treated him when he needed them. They were very sweet to him and they also let him know when he did something wrong. Fast forward, I got to see my brother for the first time in years in 2006 at our late mother's bedside at Nash General hospital. He was accompanied, by his caretaker. He looked good as an adult. This was weird to me since I saw him last as a youngster. Fast forward again, time has passed when I haven't seen nor heard from our brother. I found out where my brother was having asked so many questions of his whereabouts. He was in the nursing home, not as a patient, but was there until they found him another group home. I finally got to see him one time in Wilson and of course, I was excited. I was able to make contact with him more often than before. So now, we are talking on a regular basis. He was so happy to make some connection with his family. Afterwards, I got to meet his caregiver- Mrs. Marie Juggar, AFL home- , NC, whom took care of my brother like a son. She gave him a good environment, made sure he didn't lack anything, he ate what he liked, drinked what he liked, visited, celebrated, and he was able to come to Rocky Mount to visit his family. When I say memories, I mean he left a lasting mark on us. He cut up with his nieces and nephew when he was here and he also let them know he was an adult that didn't take no mess. Before he passed away, he wanted me to send him $200,000 so he could buy everything he needed and wanted. He wanted a mansion built from the ground up. He called me numerous of times to ask about how i was doing and stayed on me about taking care of myself. He also wanted to come home for good. Our last conversation was about money, getting his birth certificate, my speech- getting seen by a doctor about my loss of speech, and other personal things. He was so protective about not sharing his business to no one. He was very encouraging, prayerful, had big hopes and dreams, thoughtful, dramatic, he would do anything for you, etc. I will miss this guy. Now, I have no phone ringing back to back on either phones, no one to pick up to spend time with us, I don't have Fred anymore. But no matter what, God understands.
Frederick Jones accepted our Savior King of Kings our Messiah Yeshua Yahawashi Ha Machiac into his life so that he wouldn't be lost. That was good enough for me. I don't worry now, I celebrate his life and now he is asleep until it's time to be raised incorruptible.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
