Funeral Service 11:00 am Friday, May 16, 2025 at St. James Baptist Church, 527 E. Thomas Street, Rocky Mount, NC. 27801 with Rev. Dr. J.T. Worthy, officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
Visitation 4:00 - 6:00 Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Hunter - Odom Funeral Service, 121 South Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC. 27801.

Gloria was a wonderful board member, community champion, and advocate for young people. Gloria Wiggans Hicks was the epitome of servant leadership and a champion for young people in Nash and Edgecombe Counties. As a dedicated board member and past Chair, she served with a loving spirit, always putting the needs of our Club members first. Gloria gave generously of her time, talent, and her treasure, setting the standard for what it means to be a high-performing board member.
Even after her retirement, she remained steadfast in her commitment to the mission and the young people we serve. Her legacy of compassion, leadership, and unwavering support will continue to inspire us all.
We are grateful for her life and her lasting impact on the staff and members of the Boys & Girls Clubs and the community she loved so deeply.
