Joseph Womack

To my Family. Uncle Joe was my guy. I affectionately called him Womack and he called me Calhoun. He was my Uncle through his 1st marriage and my 2nd father. I will miss him dearly but forever hold a Special place in my heart because he loved me Unconditionally and taught me the ways of Life. Sleep well Womack you earned your crown.Love Tracey. Joe and Gerri have been our friends since we attended Grace. Joe always teased me telling me to run and not marry ny husband. He would calm me down when needed.RNB9 I will miss him and will keep his love and friendship in my heart. Remember" Rebel loves you and Gerri

Joe was Joe: always the loudest voice in the room and would speak his mind no holds barred. But he would also be the first one there to help unconditionally when family and friends were in need. Gerri was his heart and soul and he protected her fiercely and provided for her every wish. He will be missed by his family, life-long friends, neighbors and his church family.

Joseph Womack left this earth married to my Aunt Geri. My Uncle Joe was a force, my protector, my truth barometer, and I was his Stringbean. The Womack family open their arms to me, just as he did. Those fish fries in the summer in Roxboro were the best! He was a great example of a man and I am so blessed that God sent him to us. He will be sincerely missed. Rest in Peace, Uncle Joe. Joe was my oldest brother and I loved him, I am so glad we had the opportunity to share and spend time together, I know that when you get to heaven , I know you're gonna give dad a kiss on his forehead, that was you and his favorite way of bonding. Take a seat; sit down and rest now, your work down here is done. We loved you , but we know that God loved you more.
