Mama Lena you were my second mom. I enjoyed our phone conversations, your laughter, our funny phrases "Snatch you out your frame" and the over the phone cooking lessons. Edward, sorry to hear of Lena's passing! Had not visited you and Her for a while. Always kept you all on our mind and in our conversations. We will miss her dearly. She held on and kept the faith for many years that her healing would come. So many have been touched by her kind and giving spirit, but only a few of us are truly blessed enough to have Her for a friend! Praying GOD'S strength will take you through.

Lena was like a second mother to my siblings and cousins when we would visit Warrenton during our summer vacations. She was a kind thoughtful person and dearly beloved by the Myrick grandchildren, who all still hold fond memories of her 50 years later. REST IN PEACE.
