My sister use to take me and her 2 daughters with her to visit Mrs.Lucy in the country when I was a young girl and Mrs Lucy was always happy to see us, she would give us snacks and we'd play outside in her very large yard with lots of shade trees. Lucy was my mother 1st cousin Hattie Jones Allen. I remember the summers I would spend at her home. Always sweet and kind. Always felt at home. When Lucy and my mother got together they always had the best stories of their childhood. They would laugh and talk for hours. Now they are together in heaven talking. Rest in peace.

Ms. Lucy was such a sweetheart. She was always kind whenever we were in each other's presence. There were times Ms. Lucy would sweetly referenced my mother who passed years ago. Her doing so always made me smile. But that was type of woman she was. She had a beautiful kind heart. I know she will be missed because she was and is so loved.
