To the Revis Family: It is with great sadness to hear of the homegoing of your precious Marie. But I do know without a doubt that God will carry you through your sorrow. My dear sister Marie, what a joy she was when I was sick in Missouri. I shared with Marie during one of her frequent calls that I did not feel well. I told her that the medicine my doctor prescribed for a recently discovered illness made me sick. She piped up quickly, "Stop taking it." I said Marie, I can't do that because it's actually healing me. She said, "I don't see how with all you're telling me." On another call she said, "My doctor gave me something that doesn't make sense." I said Marie you're not a doctor. She assured me that she could read. And so it went through out my recuperation. We bumped heads on medical things, but I needed her calls. They always came when I needed a laugh or at a time I needed to come out of myself. What a jewel she was. Marie, in all her personality, will be missed. My prayers are with the family. May the God of all comfort give you peace.
