Obituary For Mary High
Mary B. High, 94, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at St. James Baptist Church, 527 E. Thomas St. Rocky Mount, NC. 27801 with Dr. James T. Worthy, officiating. Burial will follow at the Northeastern Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at St. James Baptist Church.

The "Queen" she was the best. So many memories of this lady. She was a good cook, she was a diva in her own time, a friend, mother, grandmother and a child of God. I am going to miss her. She was one of a kind. It seems like I have loss a family member. Take your rest "you fought a good fight". I am missing those days we shared together. You are one of a kind.
