I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Mildred Batlle. I had the privilege of knowing her during my time at Surrattsville Elementary School, and she made a lasting impression on so many of us.
May God grant her the honored and peaceful rest she so richly deserves. Ms. Batlle's dedication, care, and commitment to every African American child she served in Clinton, Maryland, will never be forgotten.
Thank you, Ms. Batlle, for all you poured into the lives of your students and our community. Your legacy lives on.
Condolences to Mrs. Battle's Family. We were saddened to hear of her passing but joyed that Heaven gained a true angel. Mrs. Battle has been our neighbor for the past 10 years and we have truly enjoyed her welcoming presence. May the Lord keep her family in the time of bereavement.

Mildred and I worked at the same school in Hillcrest Heights for several years. She was always good about helping you with a favor. After we retired she always called to check on me. My prayers and condolences to her family.
Sending prayers of comfort, peace and strength.
I served as Mrs. Mildred's housekeeper for five years. She was a woman of considerable wisdom and integrity, always willing to help others. Her kindness was evident, especially during the difficult time following my husband's passing, when she offered her support. I will always remember her assistance. Rest in peace, Ms. Mildred. My great-niece Haelynn and nephews Haden and Jaxon Moses will be dearly missed, but WE will never forget you.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
