For the passed 7 years, I took on an assignment from God to be as an angel to watch over you. Yes sir, your armor barer in the spirit and in the natural, your protector. As I have watched over you, you can now watch over me from Heaven with mom. You came into my life when I was 8 years old and served me as my dad, so yes it has been an honor to come back and serve you in the latter times Take rest & peace and wholeness in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and just know that it was honor to serve you. The Walker's are blessing the Lucas family with our prayers now and as God continue to guide your steps forward. I, Matthew, have many fun memories of my father figure, Percy. He provided me with all those qualities of a father, knowing I was without one. He sincerely cared for my health and well-being. I still have fun memories of working for him at Thomas Street Billiard and cleaning up at Banks, at a young age in my home of Rocky Mount. He sincerely treated me as family and disciplined me when I was wrong. I'm grateful to God for putting Percy in my life and forever in my HEART. A child of God. Rest, Percy! Believing in God, to see you again.

Remembering a Dear Friend..... There are many people that we meet in our lives but only a very few will make a lasting impression on our minds and heart. Percy was of the rare people who really cared for those he loved. He would always listen and talk with you. He cared about your happiness and well-being. He liked you for who you were and supported you all the way. He always provided laughter and joy with each visit to our home.
The Cox family was happy to call him friend. He was a blessing in so many ways and will be remembered for his many acts of kindness.
Deepest sympathy to the Lucas family. May you feel the love of our Heavenly Father as He walks beside you providing comfort and next steps. The Cox Family
