He provided me with all those qualities of a father, knowing I was without one. He sincerely cared for my health and well-being. I still have fun memories of working for him at Thomas Street Billiard and cleaning up at Banks, at a young age in my home of Rocky Mount. He sincerely treated me as family and disciplined me when I was wrong. I'm grateful to God for putting Percy in my life and forever in my HEART. A child of God. Rest, Percy! Percy was of the rare people who really cared for those he loved. He would always listen and talk with you. He cared about your happiness and well-being. He liked you for who you were and supported you all the way. He always provided laughter and joy with each visit to our home.
