Richard Murphy, 58, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Funeral service 11:00 am Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC. 27801 with Elder Keith Barnhill and Pastor Audrey McCarter- Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service.

I was one of Richards caretakers, and I loved him. When I went to the center his face would light up and he'd say,Good morning Robin as he called me, that just made my heart smile, to see someone so happy to see me! Rip Richard, I pray that you finally get to be with your mom again! Your friend, Robin!
