My prayers are going up for Sam's family. As a classmate he was always very kind and I know he will be missed. Peace and prayers of comfort to his family.

My heart is heavy as such as so many others. I knew Sam from our Happy Hill days as we grew up together with such happy family ties. A very nice and dear friend that I (we) will never forget. To his adorable wife Maxine, daughter Tina and son Marquette. I remember when the family lived in my neighborhood and I would often get a call to come for a visit and we'd play cards and have the very best time laughing and talking. In the winter and snow was on the grounds, Sam as you know Maxine without hesitation would come pick me up to take me to the office for work ,and end of the work day he'd pick me up. Sam always was full of Joy. Family please be assured that you will never be alone.

I send my love and condolences to the Moore family and friends. I am Sam's sister In-law from Philadelphia. Sam and I had a good relationship over the years. He was a man of few words however, but when he liked you, you knew it! He will truly be missed.
