I can easily sum this up is saying "Bill Ricks was a good man" but I have more to say. I met Bill when we both were much younger and developed a friendship that has lasted many years. We met as I needed some work done on my mother's car and a good friend suggested I give Bill a try. Bill was working out of an old turkey house with modest amenities. That was the start of a long friendship and many auto repairs. Bill came from a good family. He lost his father early in life and was raised by a strong mother. She set a great example and her children show her influence. Bill worked his way from that turkey house to a garage up the road and now William has a shop that displays some of the fruit of his labor. Bill was self-taught, worked hard, treated people with respect, and built a solid business. He displayed honesty and integrity in his work. He shared with me a few years ago that he had also made a good relationship with his Lord. Bill Ricks is someone I've always had a great deal of respect for because of the life he lead. I consider myself blessed to have known him and call his my friend. Now he's at home with His Lord, free of this world's challenges. Richard Pitt
