Helen Jean Robinson January 6, 1942 - July 2, 2021 Lizella, Georgia

Helen Jean Robinson, age 79, of Lizella, Georgia passed away at home on July 2, 2021 surrounded by love after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the loving wife of Fred Robinson, Jr., and a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Helen was born in Pine Bluff (Tucker), Arkansas, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. A graduate of Fordham School of Nursing in New York, she served as a Pediatric Registered Nurse for over 45 years. Her career led her abroad to Saudi Arabia and she concluded her life's work at Navicent Children's Hospital Pediatric ICU.

She is survived by her husband, four daughters; Dr. Audrey Alleyne, Paula Stapleton, CPA, Robin Robinson, MBA and Stephanie Howard, MBA; her four grandchildren; Jason Bugg II, Nathan Alleyne, Nicole Alleyne and Julian Bugg. In addition, she leaves her two sisters; Shirletha Binion and Valerie Maclin; and brother, Terrance Sims.

A Wake will be held for Helen on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 6:00PM-7:30PM at St. John Baptist Church, 910 Key Street, Macon, GA. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 12Noon in Saints Rest Cemetery, 826 Eisenhower Pkwy, Macon, GA.
