Macon, Georgia - Homegoing Celebration for Mother Mary Haynes Wright, 98, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 1, 2025 at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 1539 Martin Luther King Blvd. Macon, GA, 31201. Viewing is Friday January 31, 2025 at Hutchings Funeral Home, 536 New Street from 10am-5pm. Interment, Good Samaritan Society Cemetery, Avondale Mill Road, Macon.

Mother Wright was born in Laurens County, Georgia in 1926 to the late Green Haynes and Lucy Mae Green. Her secular career consisted of working as a Short order cook for Lindberg's Restaurant in Macon and Central Service Technician for 23 years with the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Mother Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Willie Wright, Sr. Survivors: her son, Willie Wright, Jr. (Sharon Harvey), Macon, GA; her daughter, Rev. Mother Lutricia Wright Richardson, Macon, GA; Brother, James Haynes, Dublin, GA; Dr. Mattie J. Coleman (Alger) Family Matriarch, Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close family and friends.
