Rev. George Mathew Carswell, Sr. May 23, 1929 - February 15, 2022
Macon, Georgia - Rev. George Mathew "Big Daddy" Carswell, Sr., was born on May 23,1929.
On Feb. 15, 2022, he was called from his earthly labor to glory with the Lord. He was 92 years old. Services will be Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at 1:00PM at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 3805 Bloomfield Dr. Interment will be in Glen Haven Cemetery at 7070 Houston Rd. Dr. Rev. Henderson Carswell, Eulogist. Dr. Rev. Bobby Carswell, Sr., Officiate. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Lonnie Carswell, Sr. He leaves to mourn his passing: his wife of 68 years, Elnora Carswell; his children; George Jr., (Gleniss), Larry (China), Dr. Rev. Henderson (Mary Sue), Terry (Cynthia), Patricia Jefferson, Dr. Rev. Bobby Sr., (Kimberly), Kenneth, and Jimmy (Crystal) Carswell.
