MRS. ALTAMEASE WHITE A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Mrs. Altamease White on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, Tampa, Florida 33607, Rev. Gregory V. Gay, Pastor, with Apostle Michael Woodard, eulogist. Interment will follow on Monday, August 15, 2022, at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Altamease White was born on April 7, 1933, in Jamestown, Florida. At an early age she relocated to Tampa, where she attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School, and graduated from Blake High School. Her career path started as a Phlebotomist. She later branched out into interior decorating, then started her own house management service business. She enjoyed interior decorating, cooking with love, and traveling with her husband. For entertainment she loved to watch wrestling, listen to music, and was always the life of a party. Altamease was a rare gem who left a lasting impression on those she met throughout her lifetime. Altamease was preceded in death by her parents Nathaniel James and Pauline Brown, brothers Derrick James, Willie C. James, Carl Wesson, and daughter Antha Woodard. Altamease leaves to cherish her loving memories with: devoted husband of 54 years Joseph; sons Ronnie (Minnie) Copeland and Frederick Albury; grandchildren, Dontavio (Laura) Johnson, Brittnee (Carl) Albury-Lewis , Michael Woodard Jr., Briona Woodard, Lavon Morales, Anna Morales; great-grandson Chance Morales; great-granddaughter Emyree Lewis; sisters Carlotta Wesson, Flossie Williams; brothers-in-law Johnny White, Reeley “Rudy” White and Jerry White; sister-in-law Shirley Jacob; special friends and previous employers Tom & Joyce Davidson; a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605. Facial Mask are required for both services.
