Mr. Atterson Roosevelt Carter Jr.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Atterson Roosevelt Carter Jr. will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Jesus Church Ministry of Tampa, 2716 N. 34th Street, Archbishop Clarence Davis, Founder with the Bishop Michelle B. Patty, eulogist. Mr. Atterson Roosevelt Carter Jr was born on June 12, 1949, in Adrian, GA, to the late Mr. Atterson Roosevelt Carter and Mrs. Alice Adell Palmer – Carter. He attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and was successful in obtaining his GED. Atterson developed a relationship with our Lord and Savior at an early age. Atterson was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Eddie Dixon, Willie Byrd, Leonard Palmer, Johnny Lee Carter, and Robert Lee McClinton; Sisters, Rosa Lee Brown, and Audrey Carter. He leaves to mourn his passing: one son, Andre Williams and one daughter Paula Williams; sister, Mamie Carter Lucas; grandchildren, DeAndre Davis, Shayla Robinson, Zarron Michael, Darron McNeal, Ziretha McNeal, O’Tisha Williams and Sanita Stewart: sister-in-law, Bernice Dixon, and brother-in-law Willie Williams (Melany); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public visitation will be held at St. John Cathedral 3401 Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way, Tampa 33605 on Friday, April 29, 2022 6-8 p.m.
