Obituary For Charles Otis Dozier, Sr.

A Graveside Celebration of Life in Loving Memory of Mr. Charles Otis Dozier Sr. will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park, North Side Of 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa 33610 with Elder Johnnie L. Wright, officiating.

Mr. Charles Otis Dozier, Sr. was born to James Otis and Annie Lou Dozier on July 14, 1960. He was educated by Hillsborough County schools and was employed by Riley Construction Company until he became disabled.

He was preceded in death by his father James O. Dozier, his paternal grandparents Arch and Rose Dozier, his maternal grandparents Charlie T. and Simmie Durr, Sr., grandson Reginald Harper, Jr, and brother Theodis Goggins and sister Melvina Dozier, and several aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his fondest memories to his devoted wife of twenty-seven years Mrs. Temica Dozier; His children: Charles Otis Dozier Jr., Kesha and Kella Dozier, Victoria and Latoya Robinson, and Cedric Dozier; His loving mother: Annie Lou Dozier; his brothers: Freddie L. Goggins (Renee), Anthony Goggins, Alton Goggins (Irene), Henry A. Dozier and James Otis Dozier Jr.; His sisters: Annie C. Dozier (Eric), Zena Marshall (Winston), Ronetta Lee, and Jessica Dozier; His grandchildren: Justin Carswell, Gregory Hill, Ta’Kelia Holder, Antonio Taylor, Erica Walker, Reniya and India Harper, Miracle Jones, Cire, Tamayla, Charade, Shania, Tenaya, and Charles Otis Dozier III; His aunts: Betty Durr, Elaine Coleman, Hattie Pearl McAllister, Ruthie Sampson (Douglas), and Yvonne Pride (William); One uncle: Charlie Durr Jr.; Like a father: Willie Pop Brantley; his favorites: Michael Burkes, Marlow Burkes, Maurice Lewis, Rodney Dozier, Mary McAllister, William McAllister Jr., Evelyn Bostic, Demetric Coakley, Teresa Jackson, Earnest Butler, Myra Haynes, Jermaine Glover, Josiah Williams, Mailyn Burkes, Cherise Lee, Deja Burkes, Madison Burkes, Amari Lewis, Imani Lewis, Mikeyana Burkes, Mikkel Burkes, Kiara Lee, Kiana Dorsey, Kyria Dozier, Kalicia Dozier, and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services. On Saturday, following interment, Friends and Family are invited to celebrate the Repast at Al Lopez Park, 4810 N. Himes Avenue, Tampa, Shelter #311.
