Delores G. Reid

A Celebration of Life Service for Delores G. Reid will be held, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a. m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605.

Delores G. Reid was born October 1, 1950 to Mr. Frank and Mrs. Doris Goggins in Bartow, Florida Polk County. She was raised in Lakeland, FL and graduated from Rochelle High School in the Class of 1968 and attended Job Corp. She relocated to Tampa, FL after marrying her first husband. Later in life she became a Data Entry operator. She changed career by attending Cosmetology School and opened her own business, becoming a Beautician/Owner at HI- Fashion Unisex Salon in 1985. She was known to her family and friends as Lois. Her all-time favorite thing to do was traveling. Cruising was her number one option to visiting different Islands. Alongside traveling she enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and partying with friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her Father Frank Goggins, Mother Doris Goggins, Grandparents Bessie Lee Roberts and Asbury Roberts; Aunt Mary Jane Trawick; Brother Theodis Goggins Sr, Nephew Theodis Goggins Jr., Cousin Nancy Davis, Granddaughter Laterica Hamilton, Great Nephew Alton Goggins Jr., Great Niece Kierra Reed.

She quietly transitioned from labor to reward on January 23, 2025.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: Partner Saleem Abdul Salaam; Sister Patricia Lanier; Her Sister from another mother Gwendolyn Butts; Daughter and Son Katrina Hamilton (Kelvin) and Eric Hamilton (Mary); Nieces and Nephews; Walter Lanier (Camilla), Alnita Shaw, Freddie Lee Goggins (Renee), Anthony Goggins, Alton Goggins (Irene), Zena Marshall, Ronnett Lee; Grand Children: Laniesha Hamilton, Eric Hamilton Jr, Kenyatta Emanual, Malik Hamilton, Ra’Shaun Hamilton, Queen Hamilton, Empress Hamilton; Great grandchildren; Jayceon Jackson, Iyanna Emanuel, Amayah Emanuel, Corey Emanual III (CJ), Wilbert Moore, Weston Moore, Jamie Hamilton, Jayden Hamilton, Kiani Hamilton, Kimora Hamilton, Laniyah Hamilton, Armanii Hamilton; 18 Great Nieces and nephews; Cousin Riley Tarwick and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friend.

The public visitation for Ms. Delores G. Reid will be on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa 33605.
