A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Jerome Wilks will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Carmel Friendship Church, 30081 Wells Rd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33545, Pastor Quincy Stratford, officiating.

Viewing will be held one hour prior.

Jerome Wilks was born November 02, 1943 in Cumberland Hospital in Brooklyn New York. His sun set on April 23, 2024. He was the son of the late Mattie Mae Wilks and Robert Blunt.

Jerome attended Hamilton High school. He was married to Nettie Wilks on April 27, 1963. He has One son and three daughters. His last place of employment was with Brooklyn Developmental Center. He retire from his last job after 20 years of service. Jerome love to watch his wrestling, cowboy, animal and old karate pictures. When you would call Jerome see how he was doing, his famous saying was “ I am just Chillin Chillin”. Jerome loved to send time with his family and friends. Jerome lived in several location thought out his life: Brooklyn NY, Pasadena Ca, Reading Pa, New York NY. Clinton Township MI, and Wesley Chapel Fl. Jerome turned hislife over to the Lord in 1997 in Monrovia Ca. Jerome love to listen to gospel music. Jerome also like to travel until he was unable to.

Jerome was Proceeded in death by his wife Nettie Wilks and brother Timothy Gaddy.

Jerome is survived by his son Kelvin Wilks, Daughters Tina Williams, Belinda Goodwin and Annette House, Daughter-in-law Tarsh Wilks, Sons-in-Laws Richard Williams and Kim Woolard, His Brother Robert Wilks and Sister Geraldine German.

Additionally, Jerome was survived by 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren and a slew of Nieces, Nephew and friends.
