A Celebration of Life in Honor of Mr. Joseph Lavar Woods, Jr. will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610, Dr. Mark T. Jones Sr., Lead Pastor with Rev. Leornard Harrington, officiating, Min. Erica Harrington, Eulogist. Joseph Lavar Woods, Jr. “Jojanga” Joseph Lavar Woods, Jr. was born to Mr. Joseph Lavar Woods, Sr. and Mrs. Monica Woods on March 5, 1999. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was a member of Northside MB Church. Joseph was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System and graduated in 2017 from Brandon High School. Joseph loved playing football and was well know as Jojanga because he had the moves to shake em, they just couldn’t touch him during the game. Joe was a successful gamer and loved cracking jokes. Joseph found love in his life and married Micah Woods in 2021. From this union God blessed them with 2 Children Journei and Josiah. Joseph was a great father, husband, son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his devoted God Father, Brian Adams, Sr. He leaves loving memories with his loving wife, Micah Woods, Children- Journei Woods and Josiah Woods. Devoted Parents- Mr Joseph (Monica) Woods, Sr. Grandparents, Daisy Armwood, Mr Ricky Lucas and Mr Joe and Julian Harris. Siblings-Zy’Kiah Sheppard, Jaciah Woods, Pierre Buie and Dalaney Woods. Niece and Nephew – Pierre Buie, Jr and Keahnni Buie. Godparents-Heidi Nereus, Chimere(Rondolyn) McCree and James(Keith) Richardson. Godbrothers -Brian, Damion, Jayshod, Julio, Cameron, Trent and Angel. Godsisters-Sh’Niya, Malaya, Leana and Ja’Maria. Aunts-Connie(Gary)McCall, Regina Dale, Geraldine Harris(Greg) Stubbs, Minister Erica (Rev. Leonard) Harrington, Valerie Harris, Joanna Harris, Nikesha Cato, Niecy Dorris, Tamara Jordan and Anna Hamilton. Uncles-Andrew (Terry) Mitchell and Jermaine Heard along with a host of grieving Great Uncles and Aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2023 6-8 p.m. at Northside M.B. Church, 5706 N. 40th street, Tampa, Florida 33610. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday, no later than 9:45 a.m.
