Ms. Sandra Cecilia Hewitt
A Homegoing Celebration for Sandra Hewitt (Wilt) will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Christian Center, 6602 Causeway Blvd. with Pastor Warren Adams officiating.
Sandra C. Hewitt was born on March 19, 1957 in Tampa, Fl. to Mr. Fred and Emma L. Lee Hewitt (both whom preceded her in death). Sandra departed this life on June 11, 2023. She was the oldest of 6 siblings of which 3 preceded her in death (Kenneth Hewitt, and Betty Jean Hewitt and Dianne Montgomery). She was married to Mr. Eddie Lee Reed and from that union was a daughter, Tameka Reed. Sandra attended the school system of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Robinson High School where she was a member of the Jazz Band and Basketball Team (she was also a member of the basketball team which is where she got the nickname “Wilt”). Sandra loved fishing and just being out in the sun, she enjoyed music, it was her peace of mind. She was for many years the Sound Tech for Bethel Christian Center, where she attended.

A Daughter: Tameka Reed; 2 Sisters: Janet (Reggie) King and Wanda Bowden; Aunt: Hilda Jones; Nieces: Vanesia Barton and Katavia Barton, Latasha (Keith) McPherson, Jonisha McPherson, and Chonesty (Ken) Osborne; Nephews: Antonio (Toshia) McPherson, Ferguson Harrell, Jesse McPherson, and Willie (Nina) McPherson, Joshua King, Charles (Andrea) Johnson, Demetrius Johnson and Jackie Montgomery; Sisters- in- Law: Sharyl, Cheryl, Sandy and Carolyn Norton, Felicia Ward, Deborah Rivers, Felicia Ward, Rosetta Reed and Evelyn Thompson; 32 Grand Nieces, Nephews and Nieces; Special Friends: Sis. Vernell Walker, and Saminthia Jackson and a host of other Family members and Friends too numerous to name.
Viewing will be on held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Fl from 6-8 p.m.
