A celebration of life service in loving memory of Mrs. Sharron Denise Toombs Boone-Hersey will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue Tampa, FL with Elder Colette Minor-Avant, officiating.

Mrs. Sharron Denise Toombs Boone-Hersey was born in Tampa, Florida on March 4, 1965 to the parentage of Deacon Robert and Sister Sarah (Watson) Toombs Sr.

Sharron was educated in Hillsborough County, she was a member of Tampa Bay Tech Class 1983. Sharron attended Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, Georgia. Sharron retired from the Hillsborough County Public School System.

Sharron attended church at the Disciples of Christ Christian Fellowship, Inc. of Riverview, Florida Pastor Kenneth and 1st Lady Mary Jo McKay.

Sharron was a loving and compassionate person. She was a devoted caring Mother and grandmother. She had a generous Spirit loving family and friends. Sharron liked interior decorating. She had an impeccable eye for the latest styles and fashion.

On Saturday, May 3, 2025 Sharron transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord.

Sharron was preceded in death by her Parents, Robert and Sarah Toombs, 6 Brothers, 4 Sisters and 1 niece.

Sharron leaves fond loving memories of her with her husband, Roy Hersey: 2 sons; Gregory Joel Boone, Garrett J Boone; 1 daughter, Gabrielle Boone Nygaard, grandchildren; Gideon and Gia Boone, Alyah, Alyasha, Yaacoh, Abigail Nygaard. Siblings; Lillie Toombs Minor, Tampa,FL, Audrey Culmer(James) Columbus,GA; Dennis Toombs, Tampa,FL, Marion Watson (Connie) Tampa, FL, Aunts,Walter L Hood, Sadie Carter(Milton) Union Point, GA; Katie Lanier(Albert)Honolulu,HI. (Gregory Boone” (Father of her children) and a host of in laws, Nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 6-8 pm
