Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear. ~jde
"Shine" was more than a skilled roofer—he was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man with a heart as steady as his hands. Known for his hard work and kindness, Shine took pride in both his craft and the lives he touched. Every visit I made to his home, I left with wisdom, laughter, and always a bag of pecans—a simple gesture of love. He had a way of making me feel welcome, as if I were part of the family. Now, Shine doesn't have to climb any more roofs. He has earned his rest, but his legacy lives on in the hearts he touched. God bless you, Shine—you will never be forgotten. —Wm. Patrick DeShields
