Aleah (Alelia) Newsome, age 92 of Athens, GA passed November 20, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at The Chapel of Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home with interment in New Salem Church Cemetery, 5352 Greensboro Road, Washington, GA.
Viewing, Friday 1-6 PM, at the funeral home.
Survivors include: Patricia Newsome, Brenda Newsome Purnell and David Sanders; sister, Helen Reed; her grandchildren, Robert Barrow, William Shirley, Audrea Newsome, Latesha Purnell, Alelia Newsome, Christina Newsome, Lateek Purnell, Lamesha Purnell, Russell Milton, Hamsom Howell, Danielle Newsome, Tiaunia Newsome, Shelerian Newsome and Jasmine Newsome; host of great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
