Betty Jo Johnson, age 86, of Athens, Georgia, passed away on January 26, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Chapel of Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 1, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Betty Jo leaves to cherish her precious memories, three sons: Floyd Morton, Jr., Michael Morton and LeNorris (Sonya) Renwick; five grandchildren: Shakita Renwick, Mekeil Morton, Jeremiah Morton, Nashay Morton and Betty M. Thomas; four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of stepchildren, other relatives and friends.
