Christine Sheats, age 70 of Athens, GA passed August 7, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 1500 US-29, Athens, GA with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include: three children: Tanard Sheats of Athens, GA, Nasima Marguerite Camp of Atlanta, GA and Naomi Arnella Smith (Edrick) of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren: Juwan Smith, Taraeh Sheats, Timothy Sheats and Techiya Darah Sheats; devoted and caring sisters: Betty Sheats Stokes of Athens, GA, Joyce Sheats Hardy of Albany, GA, Yvonne Moore Brown of Athens, GA and Sheron Sheats Weston (Willie) of McDonough, GA; an aunt, Gloria Holmes of Augusta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

I am heartbroken to hear of Christine's passing. She was my friend and my edd prayer warrior. She came into my life to help me take care of my husband when he had a catastrophic injury...he died on December 27, 2008, but Christine continued to be in touch with me. I will miss our late night talks, her intermittent phone calls just when I needed them. I loved her and will miss her tremendously. God Bless.
