Barbara, Vonda, and Sandy, Mom and I were saddened to hear of the passing of our cousin, Mamie. We will never forget the hard work she put in, and the information she gathered for our family reunion booklet. We cherish that important and necessary historical timeline she provided us. May your hearts be filled with joyful memories of your mom now and forever. Love always, Wanda Shelton Cox
To the Hester Family: Mamie and I were friends and sorority sisters for many years. She lived her life, she had her day, for she was an AKA. I deeply mourn her passing. Prayerfully, Jean Lay Ragland
Aunt Mamie was like a second mom to me. Loved her cooking and banana pudding. You will forever and always be in my heart and memories. Rest in heaven with the fantastic four💔😇
Barbara and Family, I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. I am sure she is rejoicing with Mr. Hester and other Family members.
