Roosevelt J. Witt, age 60, of Crawford, GA formerly of Athens, GA passed May 7, 2020.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include: two sisters, Joann Witt and Phyllis Harris, both of Athens, GA; and a long-time friend, Bert Robinson; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A gentle giant. On the outside he seemed rough and tough, but on the inside he would give you the shirt off his back if you truly needed it. A gifted mechanic, he has saved countless friends money for free repairs. He is one of the last of the "Bethel Homes" island party crowd. I and many others are still in shock & disbelief. But the LORD wanted to take him off the painfully highway of life and give the rest he deserved. Keep On Trucking to the other side. RIP
