Vanessa Thomas Powers, age 65 of Hephzibah, GA passed May 18, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1340 Freeman Creek Rd, Bishop, GA 30621. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Viewing, Friday, 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include: Her husband, Thomas Powers, and their daughter, Shannon Powers, and son, Terrence Powers, Hepzibah, GA; three sisters, Ruby Wilhite, Bogart, GA, Mary Dorsey and Deborah (Richard Brown), both of Farmington, GA; three grandsons, Tyree Powers, Zakai Washington and Jonah Purnell, all live in Hepzibah, GA; Vanessa also had many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; including one aunt, Barbara Richardson of Eatonton, Georgia, and one uncle, Daniel Hunter of Athens, Georgia.
