Willie E. Wise, age 78 of Athens, GA passed December 20, 2025.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday December 26, 2025 at The Chapel of Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Public viewing, Wednesday December 24, 2025 from 2-5PM, at the funeral home.
Survivors include: seven beautiful children: Jessie Wise (Lisa), Deborah Ellison (James), Florence Wise (Dexter), Sheila Wise (Kentay), Clara L. Wise and Demarkio Wise and his adopted daughter he raised as his own, Libra Ellison; twelve grandchildren, Randy, Terry, Kierra, Dontavious, Joshua, Bridgette, Jameshia, Justin, Jamal, O’Neal, Aaliyah and Marcus; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Wanda Moon Ellison, Valerie Wiser, Laverne Brown and Lisa Hendricks (Lynn, Jr.) and one step sister, Sheila Huff; many nieces and nephews; and friends, Edward Griffeth, Lonnie Nesbitt “Tuff-Man”, Douglas Evans and Stanley Evans.
