Willie Lester, age 75, of Athens, GA passed on August 9, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the graveside of East Lawn Cemetery, 825 Winterville Rd, Athens, GA. Viewing, Monday, 1-6 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include: his wife, Sandra Lester; children, Willie Lester, Vernon Lester and Eric Lester; step-children, Dedra Evans, Terry Evans and Rico Evans; siblings, Richard Lester and Julia Gibbons; a host of grandchildren.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr.Willie Lester. Being knowing him, since I joined VFW POST 3910 AUXILIARY. Such a nice and pleasant gentleman. He worked so hard for Veterans and their families.
