Sarah Patricia Carmichael-White was born December 31, 1945 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Eva M. Murrill and William F. Carmichael. Sarah Departed this Life April 21, 2020 at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ.

Sarah’s early educational journey started in the Dillon, SC School System. At age twelve, Sarah moved with her parents to Newport News, Virginia where she continued her education and graduated from GWGH School in 1965 as majorette. Sarah accomplished many goals: Gospel Songtress, Actress, Stage Manager, and a member of the “Go and Tell Gospel Singers,” just to name a few. Sarah was passionate about all her accomplishments.

In 1971 Sarah moved to Newark, NJ where she continued to be a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friends throughout the years to all. She also met her Common Law husband, Willie Daniels during this time. Later in life Sarah joined New Ephesus Baptist Church in East Orange, NJ. Sarah was employed at University Hospital in Newark, NJ where she retired from after working 20 plus years as a valued and dedicated Nurse’s Assistant.
