I was heartbroken to learn today that Coach Farley had passed. He was my wrestling coach at Ed White H.S. From 1974 to 1977, and we stayed in touch over the years. He loved being a coach and mentor to his students and athletes and he was always devoted to helping young people and trying to prepare them for success in life. He was an instrumental figure in my life and I benefitted greatly from our relationship. He was my friend and I will remember him fondly. God rest his soul.
Coach Farley was not only a great person, coach, teacher, and respected by all, he was my football coach (running backs) at Ed White High School my 11th and 12th grade years. I am so sorry to hear about Coach Farley's passing but I know he is in a better place and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! I will be praying for his family in this difficult time.
