Obituary For Willie L. Collins
Willie L. Collins, 77, of Jacksonville passed away September 26, 2022. He was born Ocilla, Ga, the third of twelve children born to David and Elizabeth Collins. He is survived by Alfreida, his wife of 52 years and two children, Kimberly (Edward) and Willie Jr. (Tearany). Five grandkids survive him: Roderick, Ian, Tristian, Ethan, and Ryan. One great grandkid Josiah A remembrance service will be held. Oct. 8 at 11:00 a.m. Grace and Truth Community Church 2930 Rosselle street. Public Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Oct. 7 from 5-8pm. Interment will be Oct. 10 at 11:00 Jacksonville National Cemetery 4083 Lannie Road.

To my family, Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal. Just know that you are in my prayers and Cousin, say hello to Mama for me, your Aunt Mary. I know that you all are rejoicing. Alfreida, you and the family have my deepest sympathy. My prayer is that God continues to bless you. Willie and I served many years in the Florida Army National Guard. He served with great honor and was a true soldier, and it was a pleasure serving with him. Not only will I miss him as a fellow soldier, I will also miss him as a dear friend.
