Aries Nicole "Nikki" Carey passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was born March 13, 1973, to George and Carolyn Carey in Buena Vista, Georgia. Nikki, as she was affectionately known, grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a graduate of Ronald E. McNair SR High School. She was a member of Gresham Park Christian Church in Decatur, Georgia, and had a huge heart. Nikki loved reading at a young age and was an avid reader throughout her adult life. Nikki also loved R&B music, decorating, and collecting art. She was an extremely hard-worker, and always willing to help others in need. Nikki was blessed to have a daughter, Tiarra S. Seaborn, whom she loved dearly. She is proceeded in death by her father, George Thomas Carey. Nikki leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter, Tiarra S. Seaborn, her mother, Carolyn N. Carey, her sisters, Geminia (Richard) Carey Hopkins, Jelisa Carey (Brandon) Douglas, and her brother, Marque G. Carey; as well as her 3 nephews, Marcus and Myles Hopkins, and Bradley Douglas. Nikki also leaves behind her long-time friend Melvin Seaborn.
