Brandi was my preceptor at the hospital for a month and a half, and during that time, I saw her deep care for people. She went the extra mile to uplift her coworkers, even if it was a cheerful greeting or "you doing ok?" I admired her patience and composure in every situation, and she knew exactly how to make people feel their best in the lowest time of their lives. Brandi believed in me the most, reassuring me every step of the way and pushing me to grow in my skills. I knew she would always be there when I needed help. She loved her family so so dearly, always talking about them every chance she got and telling us how proud she was of her children. I pray that her family finds deep peace that surpasses all understanding during this time, and that they find rest from God who can heal any brokenness. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God of all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us." 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
04/17/2026; Extended Condolences & Prayers to the Family.
I worked with Brandi at Corewell health in Farmington Hills on 4 south (ortho, neuro, trauma) floor. She would always ask if I needed help with turning a patient or anything else I needed help with. Not only did she help me with work but helped me in life. She would always help me if I was going through something and needed someone to vent to. I will always appreciate her and everything she did on our floor, work will never be the same without her. I love you Brandi and I will forever miss you. I hope you continue to watch over the people you love.
I'm truly heartbroken, I wish I talked to you more, asked you how you were more. I'm heartbroken for your family...I wish they received more time with you. Your time here may have been brief but your presence was insurmountable. I will miss your giggles, your fat cheeks, and signature gap my "cuz". I hope in the next life, you stay a bit longer, smile a bit more... and find us all again. Forever in my heart 💕 our "Starr".
