Mrs. Ernestine Roberts Battle age 73 passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tn.
She leaves to mourn her passing, children, Edward Donnell Roberts, Joyce Battle, Matthew Battle, Jr. and Clevelen (Sheila) Brogdon and other children that she helped raise, Courtney Moore, Marvin (Danielle) Whitman, Dewayne Lewis and Michael Sowell.
Devoted cousins, Larry (Veronica), Lonnie (Cardelia), Walter (Linda) Bender and Phyllis and Jason Talley. Uncles, William H. Bender and Herschell C. Roberson, (19) grandchildren, (7) great grandchildren, (3) nieces, (4) nephews. Devoted niece/cousin, Joy Bender McMurry, devoted friends, Renda Talley, Ernest and Mary Crowder, Myles Owens, Herschell Roberson, Jr. and Genetta Cohn Butler. Many other relatives and friends.
Family Visitation, Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 11-12 noon with funeral service to follow at Stateland Baptist Church 4650 Wright Ave. Old Hickory, Tn.
