Sending up prayers and offering my sincere condolences to the Cook family. Jimmy lived across the alley from us in South Nashville. We were always playing together as kids. He even called me his girlfriend when we were in 2nd grade. I have fond memories of him, Miss Frances, Shirley and Donnie (Sharnell you came later 😊). So sad to hear of his passing so suddenly. I met Jimmy at our 1st job as teenagers, we worked at a Jr high school in Woodbine. He was a great guy,he would ride his mini bike up to Burger King to get everybody's lunch. And he love his Mother Mae Frances. He will be missed.

Cook was a rare breed. Even in high school Cook was a kind, compassionate spirit who genuinely cared about others, without looking for anything in return. He will be missed. Blessings and love to the Cook family. Sherre (class of 1976)
