My friend Joe it was a great pleasure meeting you and enjoying your conversation when we talked. We would talk about everything that came to mind. You were a great person to me and Maxine I will miss you very much. From big Sykes and Maxine.
Just learning of your transition. It saddens my heart. We once shared a special bond. Blessing and condolences to your wife and kids.
Missing my friend dearly. We would go weeks without talking but when he called we talked and laughed for hours about everything. He was a true gentleman of character and wisdom. The way he spoke about his sons was a testament of how great of a father he was. Condolences to the family. Deanna

Darlene Booker: I have known Joe all my life since childhood living in Drew, MS. Joe was always a respectful, caring, giving, and cheerful person. I give my condolences to his wife, children, and the Anderson family. Joe will truly be missed. In this most difficult time, may God continue to give peace and strength to the broken-hearted.
