Oscar J. Kidd age 89 passed away July 9, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by his loving children, Cordell (Helen), Tony (Kaye), Chester (Sharon), Darryl (Janice) Kidd, Barbara (Bishop Bobby) Sanders and Patricia (Rev. Joseph, Sr.) Waters. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Devoted nephew, Silas Kidd, Jr. "Buster"

Mr. Kidd will lie in state on Friday July 16, 2021 from 4-7:00pm at JC Hellum Funeral Chapel.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE BUILDING.

Family Visitation Saturday 11-12 Noon with funeral to follow at Hamilton Chapel Church 2240 McCrary Rd. Lebanon Tn.

My condolences to the family. I have never in my lofe heard anything bad about Mr. Oscar Kidd. From what i know of him he was an outstanding husband, father, & grandfather. Also from what i have heard he was a good deacon both at Rutland and Holy Temple. I heard he was a good business man and a man of integrity. The community has been blessed to have had an awesome example of a true man of God. I pray that the Lord would comfort you all now and in the days to come. -Darnell Ford

My condolences to the entire family. From my childhood to an adult I have never heard anything bad about Mr. Oscar Kidd. From what I know of him, he has been an oustanding man, a pillar of the community. An outstandibg deacon at Rutland and Holy Temple. Also a good husband, father, and grandfather.
