Pastor Patrick Edward Stanton was born August 4, 1967 in St. Louis Missouri to the late Charles Edward Stanton and Lois Teresa Stanton. He departed this life on June 18, 2020. He was married on June 2, 1990 to Tabitha Jernigan Stanton his friend and love of his life. Patrick attended Lakeview Elementary School, Mt. Juliet Middle School, Mt. In addition to pastoring Howards Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Goodlettesville, TN., a church that he loved and cherished, he umpired for the MJ League and refereed football until his health failed him. These were not just occupations to him but hobbies. He loved being around the young people and the parents that he served in the Mt. Juliet and Nashville communities. He loved coaching his daughters and their friends in softball and prided himself in being able to bring out the best in the girls that he coached.

Patrick leaves to cherish his memory his wife Tabitha Yvette Jernigan Stanton wife of 30 years, biological daughters Blake Alexis Stanton and Blair Alexandra Stanton, sister Jacqueline SueAnn, surrogate children Tabitha (Chris) Daggs, Shelby Carter, Victoria Buckman, Ferral Ponder, every child he coached, mentored, or pastored, faithful Aunts and Uncle Wayne and Janice McHolland, Geraldine (Jerome) Clark, cousins like siblings Wayne McHolland Jr., Natasha (Erroll) Groves, and Marcus Watson.
