I am so saddened to learn of his passing. I worked closely with him while he was at Hardeman and really tried to be a support for him in his times of need. This has me emotional on this day because I realize there are so many things beyond our control and we can't fix it all. I feel like I learned a lot about him during this time interacting with him. I think I even spoke to his mom on one occasion telling her that I would steer him in the right direction since she wasn't there. I looked at him like a child and this is just heartbreaking to me. Praying for his mother and the rest of his family and friends as I know this family has been through a lot. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
