Rickey Gaines age 62 passed away May 31, 2020 at his residence.
Survivors include Daughters, Devin Martin, and Robin Gaines; Brothers, Curtis, Sr. (Shirley), Nathaniel (Yolanda) Gaines, and J.R. (Carolyn) McGowan; Sister, Antoinette Poindexter; 5 Grandchildren; Devoted Grandson, Omari Allen; Devoted Cousin, Elder James A. Mitchell; Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Drive through viewing Friday June 5, 2020, 4-6 PM at Hellum Funeral Chapel.
Graveside service Saturday 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 519 Greenland Drive, Murfreesboro, TN, Elder James A. Mitchell words of encouragement.
ONLY 10 PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED UNDER THE TENT. EVERYONE ELSE PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLES.

I had the pleasure of umpiring baseball with Rickey in the late 80's and 1990's. He loved the game of baseball. He was funny to be around. My condolences to the family on your loss.
