Obituary For Sammie L White
Ms. Sammie L White, 86, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Murfreesboro, TN.
Sammie was a unique and caring soul who was beloved and left a great impact on many who met her.
She will be missed by her five children: David Wester, Robert (Nikki) Wester, Lucia Wester, Vicki (Ronnie) Woods, Rozell (Erica) Wester, as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Siblings, Walter (Velma) White and Gladys Hooper. She is preceded in death by her son, Hughe Wester.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at JC Hellum Funeral Chapel 107 Stokes St. Lebanon, TN. 37087

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family of Ms White whom I was introduced to by her Eldest son David Dewayne 42 yrs ago. The Detroit Tigers won the World Series. To David, Keith, Lucia, Hugh(Who preceded his mom in death) Victoria, Roselle & Unc Walter- Mom lived a long life & is Resting in Peace. So you all can EXHALE & GREET EACH DAY JOY & GLADNESS. Loosing a family member or a friend can be difficult for the ones left behind. As my husband, sister n law and the rest of the family grieve the loss of our dear Sammie, prayers of comfort and strength are always appreciated. I pray for guidance as well. Sammie was the eldest of 7 siblings and from my understanding, she worked so hard to care for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. I had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times and she was absolutely beautiful inside and out. I'm a strong believer in God's Word so to be absent from the body is to be in the arms of our Heavenly Father. I find comfort in the living Word and pray family and friends will also find comfort and strength in this powerful message taken from the Word of God. I'm so glad to have met Sammie. May her soul rest in peace, forever more.
You will be miss Cuzz. I will always love you! Once Daddy told me he left me with you until he got out of the Military Station In DATON OHIO. I then knew I didn't dream it. From a small child I always dream I was left with a beautiful woman that took care of me! So each time I seen you it was always so special!! I love You Cuzz!! Rest In Peace 🙏
