In the early dawn of July 4, 2025, a precious soul, Ailana Jayxelis Morales Cruz, was gently carried away from this world. Born in the tender embrace of Youngstown, Ohio, she graced her family with love and hope during her short time with us. Though she entered this life as a whisper, her spark will linger in the hearts of her beloved parents, Jerelis Geigel Cruz and Axel Morales Santos.
Ailana, a sweet angel sent by God albeit a transitory season, you are remembered as a bright flicker of potential, an unfinished melody that held dreams yet to be sung. While your earthly journey with us was fleeting, know that you were cherished deeply.
Though our hearts ache with the loss of such a young life, we will carry her in our memories, forever a part of the tapestry of the Morales Cruz family. Ailana, although only here briefly, reminds us to treasure every moment.
In honor of her brief, yet impactful presence, we will gather on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. A public viewing will take place at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J E Washington Funeral Home, 2234 Glenwood Ave, Youngtown, OH. We will celebrate her spirit with a heartfelt service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Moises Diaz will serve as the celebrant.
Following the committal ceremony, the family will lay her to rest in loving embrace at Belmont Park Cemetery - a tranquil place where family and friends can visit to reflect Ailana's light. Rest gently and sleep in heavenly peace, precious little one.
At this time of intimate need and personal loss, the family of Ailana Jayxelis Morales Cruz elected to entrust their angel to the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with Transitional After-Care Arrangements to the J. E. Washington Funeral Services, 2234 Glenwood Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, 330.782.8500.
“Our Little Angel Flew”
Our little angel flew to heaven’s gate,
With wings so small yet love so great.
She left behind her tiny shoes,
And took with her our morning dews.
In gardens bright, she plays above,
Forever wrapped in endless love.
Though tears may fall, we’ll smile again,
For in our hearts, her light remains.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
